Disastrous Talk Radio Interview Shows Pat Roberts (R-VA) Uses Kansas as a Prop in Election Years

Virginia’s Third Senator claims he’s a “lifelong” Kansan but the vanity plate on his sporty convertible says otherwise.

Overland Park – On the KCMO Morning show with Greg Knapp this morning, Pat Roberts admitted that he only comes “home” to Dodge City every time he gets an opponent.

“Every time I get an opponent, uh, I mean every time I get a chance to, I’m home.”

“Kansans understand now more than ever that Pat Roberts doesn’t live in Kansas and he hasn’t for a very long time,” said Dr. Milton Wolf.  “Pat Roberts has been in Washington for 47 years and for him now to admit that he comes ‘home’ to Dodge City only when he gets an opponent is a slap in the face to Kansans.  The people of Dodge City and all of Kansas don’t deserve to be treated like a prop for Pat Roberts’ political career.  It’s time we vote Pat Roberts out of the Senate and clean house in Washington.”
